PLAZA RETAIL REIT ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS

Plaza Retail REIT has made the following appointments.

James Petrie has been appointed executive vice-president and chief operating officer (COO). Mr. Petrie has been with Plaza since 2004, and most recently was executive vice-president and general counsel. Mr. Petrie's role is expanding to look after the company's business across Canada.

Kevin Salsberg has been appointed executive vice-president and chief investment officer (CIO). Mr. Salsberg has been with Plaza since it acquired KeyREIT in 2013 and most recently was executive vice-president. Mr. Salsberg will be focused on property/development acquisitions and divestitures.

Fotini Tolias has been appointed senior vice-president. Ms. Tolias has been with Plaza since 2002 and most recently was vice-president (operations). Ms. Tolias's role is expanding to property operations across Canada.
