The Investment Reporter, in its April 24, 2015, issue, refreshes its buy of Pacific Insight Electronics Corp., recently $3.10. The Reporter said buy five times from March 6, 2006, to Nov. 28, 2014, at prices ranging from $2.43 to 4.50. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the five buys, the $5,000 position is now worth $4,436. Although the Reporter expects Pacific Insight to earn less in fiscal 2015, it continues to rate the auto parts maker a buy. In the six months ended Dec. 31, 2014, Pacific Insight's revenue rose by 8 per cent thanks to new contracts. Net income fell, according to the company, because of launch-related costs for auto programs, and additional investments to support expected increases in revenue. This suggests that Pacific Insight will end up earning more in years ahead. It remains a buy for gains if you need no dividends.
