MIDDLEFIELD ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF EXTENSION FOR PATHFINDER INCOME FUND

Pathfinder Income Fund, formerly Pathfinder Convertible Debenture Fund, has filed all necessary documents in order to effect the extension of the fund beyond its previously scheduled termination date of Nov. 28, 2014.

As previously announced, the fund's forward purchase and sale agreement expired today. Going forward, unitholders will benefit from the elimination of the counterparty fee paid by the fund under the forward agreement, which amounts to approximately 0.35 per cent per annum.
