OROFINO ANNOUNCES NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Orofino Minerals Inc. has arranged a non-brokered private placement of up to three million common shares at a price of 10 cents per share to raise up to an aggregate total of $300,000.

There will be no warrants accompanying the shares. The company may pay a finder's fee in regard to this financing.

The proceeds of the financing will be used for working capital purposes. The financing is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
