OROFINO ANNOUNCES NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Orofino Minerals Inc. will conduct a non-brokered private placement of up to five million units at a price of five cents per unit to raise up to a total of $250,000.

Each unit will consist of one common share in the equity of the company and one share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share of the company at a price of five cents per share for a period of five years.

The proceeds of the financing will be used for working capital purposes. There may be a finder's fee payable for the financing.

The financing is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
