OPAWICA ANNOUNCES DRILL RESULTS, TECK-KIRKLAND PROPERTY, ONTARIO
Opawica Explorations Inc. has released drill results from the company's Teck-Kirkland property located near Kirkland Lake, Ont. No significant mineralization was encountered in the current drill program.
The program was carried out in November, 2012, and December, 2012. Fieldwork consisted of power stripping, 836 soil samples and diamond drilling in three holes totalling 1,260 metres and ranging between 261 to 648 metres in depth within the Southwest block of the Teck-Kirkland property. The strongest soil anomaly was coincident with an induced polarization chargeability anomaly and was drill tested by Opawica drill hole TK-12-03 in December, 2012. A number of other soil anomalies remain untested and require further evaluation.
No further work is planned at this time on the Teck-Kirkland property.
Assaying for the above drill program was completed by Swastika Laboratories.
Robert Laakso, PEng, is the qualified person for the Teck-Kirkland property, and he has reviewed the contents of this release.
