NEUTRISCI COMPLETES $1.5 MILLION PRIVATE PLACEMENT

NeutriSci International Inc. has closed the non-brokered private placement previously announced on Nov. 7, 2016, for aggregate gross proceeds of $1.5-million.

Glen Rehman, president of NeutriSci, stated: "We are extremely pleased with the response to this financing. This strategic raise puts NeutriSci in a strong position to expand the national marketing program for neuenergy. We will also be utilizing the funding to improve production automation and increase inventory to meet the growing demand both here in Canada and abroad."

The placement consisted of 15 million units of the company at a price of 10 cents per unit. Each unit consists of one common share of the company and one common share purchase warrant entitling the holder to acquire an additional common share of the company at a price of 18 cents until May 18, 2018.

In connection with the placement, the company paid a cash commission totalling $84,600 and issued 846,000 finder's warrants. Each finder's warrant entitles the holder to acquire one common share at a price of 18 cents per share until May 18, 2018. All securities issued in connection with the placement are subject to a hold period expiring on March 19, 2017.

Proceeds of the placement will be used to build inventory, and for marketing and advertising programs related to neuenergy, and for general corporate purposes.
