Brien Lundin, in the February, 2016, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says hold Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd., recently 32 cents. Mr. Lundin said buy Northern Dynasty nine times between March, 2002, and July, 2015, at prices ranging from 41.5 cents to $9.80. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the nine buys, the $9,000 position is now worth $3,049. Northern Dynasty made two key financing moves in late December. First, it closed a $5.18-million (U.S.) private placement of 12.57 million shares at 41.2 U.S. cents each. Second, it issued 27.59 million shares to acquire Mission Gold Ltd. These arrangements have helped Northern Dynasty while it navigates environmentalists and other obstacles and waits for approval for its Pebble mine. Long-time readers will be familiar with the southwest Alaskan deposit and its spectacular potential. At a 0.3-per-cent copper equivalent cut-off grade, the project has a measured and indicated resource of 56.8 billion pounds Cu, 70.4 million ounces of gold, 3.4 billion pounds of molybdenum and 343.6 million ounces of silver. Mr. Lundin says: "At some point, this huge deposit is going to become a mine. The only question is when." For those of you willing to play the waiting game, hold.
