NORTH SOUTH RETAINS CONSULTING FIRM

North South Petroleum Corp. previously announced that it is investigating acquisition opportunities in the oil and gas sector. To assist in its efforts, the company has retained Chalce Resources Ltd., a private arm's-length Alberta-based oil and gas consulting firm. The company has retained Chalce for a period of five months to assist in its acquisition strategies. The mandate of Chalce will be to review opportunities in the oil and gas sector in Mexico. The principal of Chalce is Ron Brezovski, a professional geologist residing in Calgary, Alta. Mr. Brezovski was involved as a successful exploration geologist and geological area manager in several oil and gas companies until 2000, when he was co-founder of a private geological service company. The firm was sold to a major in 2007, and Mr. Brezovski remained with the firm in a senior management position until late 2014. Since 2014, Mr. Brezovski has been providing consulting services to oil and gas companies. The company will be paying a monthly fee of $14,500 for services by Chalce.
