THE 2014 EXPLORATION PROGRAM HAS BEEN COMPLETED AT NORTHERN ABITIBI'S CHES PROPERTY, BRITISH COLUMBIA
The planned 2014 exploration program has been completed at Northern Abitibi Mining Corp.'s Ches property in central British Columbia.
The nine-day exploration program included the mechanical excavation of seven trenches which were subsequently washed, mapped and chip sampled. During the program, a total of 274 surface rock samples was collected and sent to Activation Laboratories in Kamloops for assay, with results expected in four to six weeks.
Trenching and surface mapping have successfully traced alteration and variable sulphide mineralization over an area at least 1.5 kilometres long by 0.5 kilometre wide. Several new exposures containing variable amounts of chalcopyrite-molybdenite-sphalerite-scheelite have been uncovered and then sampled to determine if they have potential for economic grades.
Geologic mapping and field data are presently being compiled and interpreted, and will be presented along with assay results as they become available.
