MERCATOR MINERALS SHAREHOLDERS APPROVE PLAN OF ARRANGEMENT WITH INTERGEO MMC

Mercator Minerals Ltd. has released the voting results from its special meeting of shareholders regarding the proposed plan of arrangement between Mercator and Intergeo Mining MMC held on April 7, 2014, in Vancouver, B.C.

A total of 136,313,594 common shares were voted at the meeting, representing 43.2 per cent of the votes attached to all outstanding common shares. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business before the meeting.

Detailed voting results for the meeting will be available on SEDAR.

Completion of the plan of arrangement remains conditional on approval by the Supreme Court of British Columbia and satisfaction of other customary conditions, including regulatory and stock exchange approvals.
