The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that MEG Energy Corp. subscription receipts will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2017, for trading at the open on Jan. 24, 2017. According to the TSX, the subscription receipts will trade under the symbol MEG.R and Cusip No. 552704 11 6.

As stated in the company's Jan. 13, 2017, short form prospectus, MEG Energy will issue 66,815,000 subscription receipts at $7.75 per subscription receipt in a public offering. Each subscription receipt will automatically convert into one share of the company upon MEG Energy closing its second-lien note offering and on the secured credit facilities amendments becoming effective.

The TSX reports that the subscription receipts will trade until the earlier of the satisfaction of the escrow release conditions or a termination event. The exchange will issue a further bulletin confirming the delisting of the subscription receipts.
