MBMI ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

MBMI Resources Inc. has appointed, subject to regulatory approval, Robert Siu to its board of directors.

Mr. Siu is a Hong Kong-based corporate and commercial lawyer with over 20 years of experience. In addition to being qualified to practice in Hong Kong, Mr. Siu is also qualified to practice in the United Kingdom. He is a director of the following Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed companies: Incutech Investments Ltd., Finet Group Ltd., China Packaging Group Co. Ltd. and Kaisun Energy Group Ltd.

John Wong, chief executive officer and president of MBMI, stated, "I look forward to drawing upon Mr. Siu's wealth of public company experience as MBMI plans and executes its strategy in the coming years."
