LEGEND POWER SECURES DISTRIBUTION DEAL IN SOUTH AFRICA & EMERGING MARKETS

Legend Power Systems Inc. has executed an international distribution agreement with Energy Optimisa Holdings Pty. Ltd., an established voltage-optimization company based in Cape Town, South Africa. The territory covered by the agreement includes South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, with exclusivity based on established order volume. The agreement is for a term of six years with the option to extend by an additional four years.

Energy Optimisa is a well-established South African business specializing in supply-side energy-efficiency technologies. With a growing customer base and a record of success, Energy Optimisa is well positioned both in its home territory of South Africa and through established relationships with resellers in the emerging sub-Saharan market. Energy Optimisa has successfully installed Legend's energy-saving device, the Electrical Harmonizer, in multiple retail locations across South Africa and a number of projects are currently under way.
