KINCORA ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF A NEW DIRECTOR

Jonathan (Sam) Spring, Kincora Copper Ltd.'s president and chief executive officer, has joined as a member of the board of directors, effective immediately.

Mr. Spring joined the company in August, 2012, and is formerly a senior mining analyst with over 10 years of financial services experience across various disciplines within the Goldman Sachs Group and Ocean Equities Ltd. (now part of Pareto Securities). Mr. Spring has a commerce degree from the University of Melbourne, is a chartered accountant (ICAA) and a chartered financial analyst.
