Brien Lundin, in the October, 2014, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says buy Lowell Copper Ltd., recently 48 cents. This is the first time he has recommended the stock. Lowell is hunting for copper at its Ricardo property in Chile and copper-molybdenum at its TC joint venture project in New Mexico. Mr. Lundin notes that Ricardo is located just south of Codelco's Chuquicamata deposit, which has produced more than 50 billion pounds of copper. Richardo and TC's permits will arrive soon, he adds, so drilling should occur in the near term. Mr. Lundin says Lowell is managed by a "dream team" of successful explorers and financiers who will support the company's chief executive officer and founder, David Lowell. The editor thinks very highly of Mr. Lowell, who apparently might be the most serially successful man in the exploration business. Using Mr. Lowell's "legendary talents," the company's business model is to review projects, drill to "either fill them or kill them," and then move on. Mr. Lundin says Lowell is not cheap by the standards of the current bombed-out market, but it does have $6.5-million in cash. The company is here to stay and its project portfolio is as good as anything on the planet, he concludes.
