Intercept Energy Services Inc., after careful consideration and keeping the future growth opportunities in mind, has decided that, effective June 29, 2015, and in accordance with regulatory requirements, it will appoint Collins Barrow Calgary LLP, chartered accountants, as its auditor.

Accordingly, the company has requested the resignation of Grant Thornton LLP, chartered accountants, as auditor of the company, and thanks it for its past professional service and support. There were also no reportable events between the company and Grant Thornton or between the company and Collins Barrow.

The audit committee and board of directors of the company have approved the appointment of Collins Barrow as successor auditor. In accordance with NI 51-102, a notice of change of auditor, together with the required letters from the auditor and the successor auditor, has been filed on SEDAR.

Neil McLennan, the chairman of the board, said: "With the company's focus and efforts concentrating on the utilization of the technologies owned by us and the potential services which can be provided and built upon in the oil field services sector, we have culminated in the board seeking the best partners to achieve our goals. The company is also looking at appointing new directors that can bring significant experience and knowledge to the board, adding to our expertise and ability to support our management team. In this respect, Mr. Richard Oravec has resigned in his capacity as a director of the company. We sincerely wish to thank Mr. Oravec for his important contributions during his eight-year tenure with Intercept."
