ARKANSAS BAR ASSOCIATION LAUNCHES MULTIPLE CAMPAIGNS HIGHLIGHTING IDENTILLECT'S DELIVERY TRUST

The Arkansas Bar Association is beginning rollout campaigns to members state-wide for Identillect Technologies Corp.'s Delivery Trust as the preferred solution for all association members to meet the regulatory and ethical requirements to protect their private client communications. Identillect's Delivery Trust will also be highlighted as Arkansas Bar's featured benefit of the month through the end of February.

This week marks the start of multiple campaigns to serve the e-mail security needs of the almost 7,000 Arkansas legal professionals. Like many states across North America, Arkansas has specific data breach notification laws in place to protect residents. The one Safe Harbor statute which negates the need to notify the state and affected parties in the event of a data breach is when the information was encrypted and therefore useless to any third parties. According to the Breach Level Index, only 4 per cent of breached data over the past five years were in an encrypted form, thereby rendering them useless to third parties; this is a trend the Arkansas Bar and Identillect are aiming to change.

Arkansas Bar will begin by incorporating a Delivery Trust e-mail security landing page on its website to provide context and understanding for members seeking additional information. In tandem, a member-wide e-mail campaign is launching to highlight this newest member benefit and why it is imperative for actively practising legal professionals. February will be the month the Arkansas Bar will be specifically highlighting the Delivery Trust member benefit; included in this campaign will be multiple educational webinar sessions for members looking to educate themselves on current cybersecurity concerns. Throughout the February highlight of Delivery Trust to members, social media campaigns will be executed by both Arkansas Bar and Identillect to increase visibility and awareness.
