Taylor says sell Integra Gold

2015-09-04 20:44 ET - In the News

Jay Taylor, in the Aug. 12, 2015, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, says sell Integra Gold Corp., recently 27 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy twice -- on May 15, 2014, at 21 cents and on Dec. 18, 2014, at 19 cents. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the two buys, selling the $2,000 position at 27 cents would yield a profit of $676. Mr. Taylor notes that Integra's Lamaque South gold project in Quebec hosts a gold resource of over one million ounces at a grade of about 10 grams per tonne. The company also has its own mill and tailings facility. Lamaque's economics look strong the editor adds, with a pretax IRR of 77 per cent and a pretax NPV of $184.3-million. Cash costs are expected to be about $551 an ounce. Despite all of the above excellent attributes, Mr. Taylor is selling Integra because of its blowout share structure. The company has almost 300 million shares outstanding, compared with 134 million when the editor first recommended the stock in May, 2014. Not only that, it still has $61.9-million of start-up capital expenditures to raise. Mr. Taylor has no doubt this stock will do well once gold turns around, but for now he would rather put his money elsewhere.
