American Hotel Income Properties REIT LP will list an additional 4.31 million units on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the open on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, according to the TSX. As in the Oct. 21, 2014, short form prospectus, the partnership plans to sell 4.31 million units at $10.45 each, raising $45,039,500. It has granted the underwriters an overallotment option to buy up to 646,500 more units at the same price for 30 days from the closing of the offering.

American Hotel plans to use the money raised to partially finance the acquisition of two hotel portfolios comprising seven branded hotel properties in Oklahoma and Texas, to partially finance the acquisition of another portfolio of hotels in the southeastern United States that is under preliminary review, and for working capital and other potential acquisitions.
