INDUSTRY VETERAN CHUCK HERMAN JOINS MAINSTREET HEALTH INVESTMENTS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND NEW CHAIRMAN APPOINTED

Mainstreet Health Investments Inc. has appointed former president, seniors housing and postacute, of Welltower Inc. Charles "Chuck" Herman to its board of directors. Mr. Herman is highly regarded in the industry, with a successful career spanning 30 years in health care real estate.

Mr. Herman spent 15 years in various roles including chief investment officer, executive vice-president, and president, seniors housing and postacute, helping Welltower grow into the largest health care real estate investment trust in the world. Mr. Herman has previously contributed to several boards of health care focused organizations, including Argentum, National Investment Center (NIC) and American Seniors Housing Association.

Mainstreet also announced Paul "Zeke" Turner and Rob Dickson have both resigned from the company's board of directors. Paul Turner has chosen to step down to enable him to focus more time on other business interests. Existing board member Richard Turner has been appointed chairman of the board.

We have grown considerably over the last 15 months and we are now positioning ourselves for the next phase of growth," said Richard Turner. "We are thrilled to have Chuck join our board.
