GLOBAL HEALTHCARE INCOME & GROWTH FUND RECEIVES APPROVAL FOR NORMAL COURSE ISSUER BID

Global Healthcare Income & Growth Fund has received approval for a normal course issuer bid to purchase up to 635,000 units of the fund representing 10 per cent of the public float of 6.35 million units. The fund may purchase up to 128,000 units in any 30-day period which is 2 per cent of the 6.4 million issued and outstanding units at Oct. 5, 2015.

The units may be purchased for cancellation from Oct. 15, 2015, to Oct. 14, 2016, through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange or other alternative Canadian trading system and may only be purchased at a price per unit not exceeding the last published net asset value per unit. The fund believes that such purchases are in its best interests and are a desirable use of its available funds.
