HIGHLAND COMPLETES PRIVATE PLACEMENT WITH OSISKO

Further to its Oct. 5, 2015, announcement, Highland Copper Company Inc. has completed a non-brokered private placement of 24,426,434 common shares with Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. at a price of 15 cents per share for gross proceeds of $3,663,965. Following completion of the private placement, Highland has 153,968,626 shares issued and outstanding and Osisko owns 29,420,434 shares which represent approximately 19.1 per cent of Highland's shares on a non-diluted basis. The shares issued to Osisko are subject to a hold period expiring Feb. 7, 2015.
