The International Speculator, in its Nov. 7, 2014, issue, downgrades Guyana Goldfields Inc. (recently $2.55) to a hold from a buy. The newsletter said buy six times between June 6, 2011, and June 6, 2014, at prices ranging from $1.85 to $8.69. Assuming an investment of $1,000 for each of the six buys, the $6,000 holding is worth $4,860. The writer notes Guyana completed project financing for its high-grade Aurora gold mine in Guyana, South America. Construction continues. Well worth holding, he adds. Fellow newsletter writer John Kaiser spent some time with the stock. He said buy on July 12, 2012, at $2, then sold on Dec. 31, 2013.
