Jay Taylor, in the Oct. 15, 2014, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, says buy Goldquest Mining Corp., recently 15 cents. He said buy four times from Dec. 16, 2010, to Sept. 18, 2013, at prices ranging from nine cents to 96 cents. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the four buys, the $4,000 position is now worth $2,677. Goldquest has 3.2 million indicated and inferred ounces of gold equivalent at its Romero project in the Dominican Republic. It released a preliminary economic assessment (PEA), estimating a net present value of $294-million and a "somewhat uninspiring" internal rate of return of 15.1 per cent. Mr. Taylor says he would become more inspired if the company found a way to reduce its initial capital costs. He thinks this is possible, and looks forward to a revised PEA. Meanwhile, Goldquest recently identified an anomaly that is four times larger than Romero. Results from the first few holes drilled into this anomaly are expected in a few weeks. Although most of his fellow newsletter writers recommend holding or selling this stock, Mr. Taylor says investors may want to "nibble away" at current prices. With the return of the bull market, the shares may well "take out their old highs."
