GMP CAPITAL INC. ANNOUNCES SENIOR MANAGEMENT DEPARTURE

Doug Bell, vice-chairman, investment banking, and member of GMP Capital Inc.'s executive committee, is leaving the company after eight years with GMP. Mr. Bell is establishing a principal business in the mining sector.

Under his leadership, we built upon our industry-leading mining franchise, and we are confident the team will continue to build on this legacy. We thank Doug for his contributions to the success of our franchise and wish him luck in his new endeavour.
