Mr. Hermann Derbuch reports
GOLD WORLD RESOURCES REPORTS ON ACMELABS ICP AND FIRE ASSAY ANALYSIS
The arithmetic average for gold in the 59
AcmeLabs results from rock samples taken from Gold World Resources Inc.'s 47 trench is 18,174.6
parts per billion (18.18 grams per tonne). Two of the results over the 100,000-part-per-billion (100-gram-per-tonne)
limit of the ICP-MS analytical method were included in the average as
only 100,000 parts per billion to compensate for the nugget effect. The arithmetic
average for silver in the 59 samples was 825 grams per tonne by fire assay.
Fifty-four of the 59 samples returned gold results greater than
5,000 parts per billion, including 22 samples returning greater than 15,000 parts per billion (15 grams per tonne), of
which two were over 100,000 parts per billion (100 grams per tonne). Ten of the highest-gold-grade
samples will be reanalyzed by fire assay with gravimetric finish to
confirm results.
AcmeLabs performed ICP analysis on 59 randomly chosen samples from each
of the approximately 35-kilogram bags material of the bagged material from
the 47 zone (see press release July 11, 2012), of which the estimated
total weight is 2.2 tonnes.
In 2011, a 457-kilogram sample from the 47 trench analyzed at the SGS
Laboratory was determined by its pulp metallic procedure to have a
head grade of 14.3 grams per tonne gold and 860 grams per tonne silver.
The samples were delivered by Norseman Exploration and prepared by
the AcmeLabs preparation laboratory in Whitehorse (code R200-250), and
assayed by its Vancouver laboratory for gold, silver and 34 other elements (code 1DX30, 30 grams, aqua regia,
ICP-MS finish). All overlimits results for silver were systematically
reassayed (code G6Gr, fire assay, gravimetric finish). AcmeLabs is an
ISO 9001:2008-qualified assayer that performs and makes available
internal assaying controls, and systematically inserts certified blanks
and standards for addressing Gold World Resources' quality assurance/quality control requirements.
