Mr. Andrey Melnikov reports

GLOBAL COBALT APPOINTS CEO AND INTERIM CFO

At a meeting of Global Cobalt Corp.'s directors held on Jan. 26, 2016, Andrey Melnikov was appointed as the company's chief executive officer, and Alexei Musteatsa was elected as the company's interim chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Melnikov has been the director of engineering for Uranium One Group, one of the world's largest uranium producers, since January, 2015. Previous to that, he was a director of Infoprof Mining Consulting, from September, 2013, to December, 2014, and chairman and a director of SRK Consulting (Russia), from August, 2006, to September, 2013.

Mr. Musteatsa is an executive director with Imperial Mining Holding Company, the principal shareholder of Global Cobalt.
