FIRST QUANTUM MINERALS DECLARES AN INTERIM DIVIDEND OF CDN $0.0504 PER SHARE

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. will pay an interim dividend of 5.04 cents per share in respect of the financial year ending Dec. 31, 2014.

The dividend will be paid on Sept. 19, 2014, to shareholders of record on Aug. 28, 2014. The ex dividend date is Aug. 26, 2014.

The dividends paid are considered eligible dividends for Canadian tax purposes.
