EXPEDITION MINING APPOINTS GALINE DIRECTOR

Expedition Mining Inc. has appointed William Galine to the board of directors. For the past seven years, Mr. Galine has served as executive vice-president of Expedition Mining and will continue to do so. Previously he was the president and director of Toro Resources Corp., and is currently a director of Highpointe Exploration, Trigold Resources Inc. and Golden Peak Minerals Inc.

The company would also like to announce that Corry Silbernagel has resigned from the board of directors of the company, effective immediately, due to increasing commitments in other activities.

Expedition's board of directors would like to thank Mr. Silbernagel for the significant contribution he has made to the company over the past nine years and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.
