Brien Lundin, in the April, 2015, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says sell Encanto Potash Corp., recently nine cents. Mr. Lundin said buy Encanto four times between April, 2010, and February, 2013, at prices ranging from 17 cents to 26 cents. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each for the four buys, selling at nine cents would yield a loss of $2,408. Mr. Lundin includes Encanto in a list of companies that he has decided to stop covering. He says he might renew coverage of Encanto when the market improves, but for now he would rather focus on covering companies that have more upside potential. Elsewhere in the newsletter, the writer says that wild currency fluctuations, most notably the Swiss abandonment of the franc-euro peg, created an atmosphere of uncertainty last January that led investors to cling to rock-solid currencies for support. He notes that the top two safe havens were the U.S. dollar and gold, both of which moved higher. The writer says this confirms that with so much economic and geopolitical strife in the world, gold remains a great value.
