Lundin refreshes Eurasian Minerals buy

2014-10-20 18:39 ET - In the News

Brien Lundin, in the October, 2014, edition of the Gold Newsletter, refreshes his buy of Eurasian Minerals Inc., recently 76 cents. Mr. Lundin said buy Eurasian seven times between December, 2007, and August, 2014, at prices ranging from 81 cents to $2.33. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the seven buys, the $7,000 position is now worth $4,290. The newsletter editor says the company, which has a property portfolio that spans five continents and a variety of commodities, offers investors a uniquely diversified way to "play the commodities boom." In North America, the company reported that it has earned $5.7-million in net royalty income from a portion of Newmont's Leeville property in Nevada. As well, the company is looking for a joint venturer to finance exploration at its Copper Basin project in Arizona. Eurasian's previous joint venturer, Vale Exploration Canada, relinquished its interest in the property last summer after spending $3.5-million (U.S.) on exploration. Elsewhere, the company owns 42.36 per cent of IG Copper, which is drilling the Malmyzh copper-gold project with Freeport-McMoran Exploration along the border of Russia and China. The company also has active projects in Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Haiti, Austria and Turkey.
