COMPLETION OF THE POUNDS STERLING 13.1 MILLION (APPROXIMATELY US$22 MILLION) SUBSCRIPTION BY CORNERSTONE INVESTORS, YANGGU XIANGGUANG COPPER CO. LTD ("XGC") AND ORION MINE FINANCE (MASTER) FUND I LP ("ORION")

On Aug. 15, 2014, EMED Mining Public Ltd. entered into a subscription agreement with two of its cornerstone customers, Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Co. Ltd. (XGC) and Orion Mine Finance (Master) Fund I LP, to raise 13.1 million British pounds (approximately $22-million (U.S.)) by way of a subscription. EMED Mining is pleased to announce that the transaction has received the requisite approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange; consequently, all conditions precedent have been satisfied and the transaction has now closed.

The company confirms that it had a total of 181.2 million new ordinary shares of 25 pence of the company admitted to trading on AIM on Aug. 20, 2014, pursuant to the subscription, with 140 million ordinary shares at the issue price being subscribed by Orion and 41.2 million ordinary shares at the issue price being subscribed by XGC.
