CANOE EIT INCOME FUND ANNOUNCES OCTOBER 2015 DISTRIBUTION AND CREDIT FACILITY RENEWAL

Canoe EIT Income Fund has declared an October, 2015, distribution of 10 cents per unit. The distribution will be paid on Nov. 13, 2015, to unitholders of record on Oct. 22, 2015. The ex distribution date for this distribution is Oct. 20, 2015.

Credit facility renewal

Canoe has renewed its credit facility with its existing lender effective Oct. 9, 2015. The credit facility is a 12-month facility with a one-year term-out option. The maximum available credit is $350-million, with Canoe having the option, subject to lender approval, to increase the facility to $400-million. Canoe is limited to borrowing an amount not to exceed 20 per cent of the total assets of the fund. As at June 30, 2015, the credit facility represented 6.9 per cent of net assets. The credit facility will be used to take advantage of market opportunities as they arise.
