EMERALD BAY ENERGY TESTS KUHN A5 WELL AT 142 BBLS/DAY OF OIL
Emerald Bay Energy Inc.'s testing operations of the Kuhn A5 well have been completed. The company perforated and acid stimulated a seven-foot interval of the Austin Chalk formation, and swab tested the well for two days to determine inflow rates and oil cut. Over the course of the test, the well produced oil at the rate of 142 barrels per day. The company is now making preparations to put the well on production.
