DUALEX ENERGY ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR
DualEx Energy International Inc. has appointed Robb Thompson to its board of directors, effective immediately. Mr. Thompson is a chartered accountant with more than 30 years of diverse experience, including being a partner at KPMG LLP, and holding several senior management positions in the oil and gas sector, and will chair the company's audit committee.
"Robb brings a substantial set of skills and expertise to our board, with broad experience in the oil and gas industry, in particular the accounting, regulatory and financial reporting requirements of junior public companies, both domestic and international, and further increases the board's independence," said DualEx president and chief executive officer, Garry Hides.
Subject to regulatory approval, an aggregate of 1.05 million options to acquire common shares of DualEx were granted to Mr. Thompson, and certain of the company's other directors and officers. The options have an exercise price of 23 cents per share, expire on Sept. 2, 2019, and vest on a one-third basis on each of the first, second and third anniversaries of the date of grant.
DualEx has determined that exemptions from the various requirements of TSX Venture Exchange Policy 5.9 are available for the grant of options.
