DOLLY VARDEN SILVER ANNOUNCES ISSUANCE OF STOCK OPTIONS

Dolly Varden Silver Corp.'s board of directors has approved the stock options grant to buy 2.15 million shares to directors, officers, employees and consultants pursuant to the company's approved stock option plan. The options are exercisable at a price of seven cents per share, and will vest in accordance with TSX Venture Exchange rules. A total of 500,000 options have a term of two years, and the rest has a term of five years. The issuance of options is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
