DuSolo Fertilizers Inc.'s former chief executive officer, Eran Friedlander, has filed a lawsuit against the company in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, complaining about $212,622 in unpaid consulting fees. He claims that DuSolo reneged on an $11,250-per-month contract that he signed in 2015. The contract obliged the company to pay him for two years after he stopped being its CEO, he says.
The allegations are contained in a brief notice of claim that Mr. Friedlander filed at the Vancouver courthouse on June 16, 2016. The document identifies him as the CEO of DuSolo from April 28, 2006, to Aug. 18, 2015. (He does not say anything about the circumstances of his departure as CEO, or even if he resigned or was fired. The change, however, came eight days after the company reconstituted its board at the request of its largest shareholder.)
