DETOUR GOLD PROVIDES NOTICE OF THIRD QUARTER 2015 RESULTS; COO TAKING TEMPORARY MEDICAL LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Detour Gold Corp. chief operating officer Pierre Beaudoin is taking a temporary medical leave of absence. He is expected to be back full-time in January, 2016. In the interim, Drew Anwyll, senior vice-president technical services, will be assuming Mr. Beaudoin's duties and responsibilities.

The company plans to release its third quarter 2015 financial and operating results after markets close on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, followed by a conference call the next morning.

Senior management will host a conference call and webcast at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, to discuss the results.
