DIAMOND FIELDS ANNOUNCES REVISION TO NEWS RELEASE DATED AUGUST 29, 2016

Diamond Fields International Ltd. has made a revision to the related party transaction disclosure in its news release disseminated on Aug. 29, 2016, regarding a proposed 1:5 consolidation and $1-million equity financing.

Prior to the financing and consolidation, Jean-Raymond Boulle owned, directly and indirectly, a total of 141,252,432 preconsolidated common shares of the company, representing 78.4 per cent of the company's 180,126,009 preconsolidated issued and outstanding share capital. After closing of the financing and completion of the consolidation, Spirit Resources SARL will own (excluding any shares that it may acquire on exercise of the warrants to be issued in connection with the financing) approximately 38,917,153 common shares, representing 83.3 per cent of the company's then 46,691,869 issued and outstanding share capital.
