Mr. Jevin Werbes reports
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC APPLICATIONS REDUCED IN SIZE
The applications for the grant of mineral
concessions referred to in Carmax Mining Corp.'s news release of Jan. 21, 2013, have been reduced in size in order
to eliminate areas otherwise reserved by the government of the Dominican Republic for other purposes,
including parks, thereby making a portion of the lands in the original application ineligible for mineral
exploration.
The application for the lands known as La Angostura now comprises an application for a concession to
7,723 hectares, and the application for El Rio now comprises an application for a concession to 6,648 hectares.
Both areas are located in the Tireo belt of central Dominican Republic. As a result of this change, the
letter of intent referred to in Carmax's news release of Jan. 21, 2013, has been amended.
Carmax further wishes to announce that a finder's fee is due and payable in connection with the proposed
acquisition.
The acquisition and payment of the finder's fee are subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
We seek Safe Harbor.
