Ceres Global Ag Corp. will grant shareholders of record at the close of business on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, rights to purchase shares, according to the Toronto Stock Exchange. The TSX reports the company will issue one right for each share held on the record date and 1.1063 rights will entitle the holder to buy one Ceres Global share for $5.84. The company's shares will start trading ex rights at the open on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at which time the rights will be listed for trading on a when-issued basis. The rights will expire at 5 p.m. (Toronto time) on Nov. 28, 2014. The company plans to use the net proceeds from the offering, expected to be $75-million, for the construction and development of the Northgate commodities logistics centre and for general working capital.

The exchange reports all trades in the rights completed on Nov. 25, 2014, will be for special settlement on Nov. 27, 2014. All trades completed on Nov. 26 and Nov. 27, 2014, will settle on the next day in cash. All trades completed to 12 p.m. (Toronto time) on Nov. 28, 2014, will settle on the same day in cash.

The rights will trade under the symbol CRP.RT and Cusip No. 156770 12 5.
