Mr. Peter Edward reports
TCRC- RAIL TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS AND CANADIAN PACIFIC REACH TENTATIVE AGREEMENT
Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. and
the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference Rail Canada Traffic Controllers
(TCRC-RCTC) have reached a tentative six-year
labour agreement covering approximately 135 rail traffic
controller employees in Canada.
"I would like to congratulate this union for its leadership at the
bargaining table," said Peter Edwards, Canadian Pacific's vice-president of human
resources and labour relations. "This agreement reflects our ability to
recognize the great work our rail traffic controllers are doing in this
period of transformational change."
Details of the tentative agreement are being withheld pending
ratification by the TCRC-RCTC membership.
