CONNACHER ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBER

Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd. has appointed Glen D. Roane to its board of directors, effective Jan. 27, 2014. Mr. Roane has extensive professional experience as a successful investment banker and portfolio manager. In recent years, he has been involved as a director of several companies and has contributed significantly to their success. He currently serves as a director of Enerplus Resources Corp., Silverwillow Energy Corp., Badger Daylighting Ltd., Logan International Inc. and the GBC American Growth Fund. Mr. Roane also served a six-year term as a member of the Alberta Securities Commission. Mr. Roane holds a bachelor of arts and an MBA from Queen's University in Kingston, Ont., and holds the ICD.D designation.
