Mr. Jean-Sebastien Lavallee reports

CANADA STRATEGIC METALS COMPLETES ITS SUMMER EXPLORATION PROGRAM ON THE SAKAMI GOLD PROJECT

Canada Strategic Metals Inc. and Matamec Explorations Inc. have completed the summer exploration program on the Sakami gold project. The program consisted of geological and geophysical surface work in two separate areas. The first area of work was the JR area, where detailed mapping and sampling were done. A total of 303 rock-grab samples were sent to the ALS laboratory in Val d'Or for gold assaying. Work was also done on the Peninsula area, where a magnetic and electromagnetic ground survey of approximately 70 kilometres was conducted, followed by a geochemical soil survey (B horizon) on the entire Peninsula area, with systematic sampling every 50 metres on lines spaced at 100 m. A total of 728 samples were collected and sent to the ALS laboratory to be assayed for gold and indicator minerals.

The goal of the summer program was to follow up on the various gold showings identified in the past in the JR area, which returned grades of up to 61.37 grams per ton of gold (see press release dated Oct. 24, 2013). The program was also aimed at the planning of future drilling work in this area. Work on the Peninsula area was aimed at generating new targets and possibly identifying new showings.

The company will release the results of the program as soon as they are received and compiled.

The 2015 summer exploration program was supervised by Consul-Teck Exploration of Val d'Or, Que., which also designed the program and carried out all the geological surveying and sampling.

Jean-Sebastien Lavallee (OGQ No. 773), geologist, shareholder, president and chief executive officer of the company and a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical content of this release.
