MMJ PHYTOTECH LTD (MMJ.AX) PORTFOLIO DIVESTMENTS

MMJ PhytoTech Ltd. has sold all of its:

• Common shares and warrants in Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. for $5.6-million (Canadian) (net of brokerage), realizing a multiple of 2.2 times on invested capital (MOIC) from MMJ's original investment in Dosecann Inc.;
• Ordinary shares in e-Sense Lab Ltd. for $200,000 (Australian) (net of brokerage), realizing an MOIC of 0.8 times for a small cash loss after accounting for the payment recently made by e-Sense to MMJ as consideration for unapproved share options.

Jason Conroy, chief executive officer of MMJ, said: "These divestments are in line with our strategy to recycle capital to provide cash for further investments by MMJ in the global cannabis sector. As a result, MMJ's current unaudited corporate cash position will increase to approximately $8.1-million (Canadian)."
