James Dines, writing in the Nov. 10, 2017, issue of The Dines Letter, says buy Global Blockchain Technologies Corp. at $2.86. This is the first time he has recommended the stock. He does not discuss Global Blockchain in this issue; he just includes the buy on the newsletter's back page. There, he has created a new supervised investment list for Blockchain Stocks. Elsewhere in the newsletter, Mr. Dines says he is declaring a brand new major bull market in blockchain. Of course he dubs himself "The Original Blockchain Bug," pointing out that no other prominent financial adviser in the world has called for a blockchain bull market. Mr. Dines says he has been fascinated by blockchain, the technology that allows bitcoin to work, ever since he started studying bitcoin in April, 2013. Then, bitcoin was only $117; today it is over $6,800. He says he is looking to add other blockchain investments, noting that it is crucial to be early, "in order to drink upstream from the herd." Unfortunately, it is very early, he says; risks are high, but so are the rewards. Mr. Dines says it is prudent to invest only a small amount in each of his initial recommendations, and then "observe how the new buds flower."
