BLUMETRIC ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTORS

Blumetric Environmental Inc. has released the results of the election of its board of directors at its fiscal 2016 annual and special meeting of shareholders.

The following six individuals were elected to Blumetric's board: Ronald Donaldson, Dr. Hubert (Hu) L. Fleming, Dr. Vijay Jog, Jane Pagel, Geoff Simonett and Roger Woeller. Mr. Donaldson, Mr. Fleming and Dr. Jog are new directors, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. Brief bios are appended below.

Ronald Donaldson

Mr. Donaldson is a professional geoscientist who has been working in the earth science field for more than 30 years, 25 of which he has spent as an employee of Blumetric and its affiliates. He was vice-president of operations for the Wesa Group Inc. between 2008 and 2012, and is now responsible for the management of individual projects and client portfolios for multiple sites in multiple jurisdictions for which he develops and implements comprehensive project management plans. Mr. Donaldson has been a member of and chaired municipal and institutional advisory committees, and has a deep understanding of the professional service sector in which Blumetric operates.

Dr. Hubert Fleming

Dr. Fleming is a water and waste water consultant with a history of leading strategic planning and investment management for global water/infrastructure-based firms. He was global director for Hatch Ltd., and formerly vice-president of Zenon Environmental and president of Severn Trent Services. He has served on various U.S. and global organizations, including the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the World Health Organization and the North America Treaty Organization. He is also the author or co-author of several books, including the Membrane Handbook. Dr. Fleming holds a PhD and MS in chemical engineering from Cornell University and is a graduate of the executive management program from the Harvard Business School.

Dr. Vijay Jog

Dr. Jog is the founder and president of Corporate Renaissance Group (CRGroup), a firm dedicated to driving better business management and performance. He also serves as the chancellor's professor at the Sprott School of Business of Carleton University. Dr. Jog's consulting career is global and spans more than 25 years. His clients include private and public companies, major federal government departments, and many other public sector and not-for-profit organizations worldwide. As an academic, Dr. Jog has written five books/monographs and was recognized as a leader in management education in Canada by the National Post in a Canada-wide competition. Dr. Jog is a chemical engineer with a masters in chemical engineering followed by an MBA and a PhD in finance.

Jane Pagel

Ms Pagel has held numerous executive positions in both government and the private sector. She was selected to be part of Canada's diversity 50 2013 list of board candidates and has served on many public, private and not-for-profit boards. She was interim president and chief executive officer at Sustainable Development Technology Canada from June, 2014, to June, 2015. Prior to that, she was president and CEO of the Ontario Clean Water Agency from 2010 until her retirement in early 2014. Previous industry positions held by Ms. Pagel include principal government and industrial relations at Stantec, senior vice-president and principal at Jacques Whitford, vice-president of government relations at Philip Services, and president of Zenon Environmental Laboratories.

Geoff Simonett

Mr. Simonett is an accomplished entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience operating and financing early-stage companies. As an operator, Mr. Simonett has founded, built and successfully exited five companies in industries including software, marketing and financial services. As an investor, adviser or board member, Mr. Simonett has participated in dozens of companies, primarily in information technology and clean tech. Mr. Simonett is currently an entrepreneur in residence at the RIC Centre in Mississauga and is also a board member at Method Integration, as well as acting as consultant/mentor to multiple early-stage technology companies.

Roger Woeller

Mr. Woeller has served as Blumetric's CEO and board of directors member since March, 2014. Both a hydrogeologist and a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience in the environmental science industry, Mr. Woeller led the development of the Wesa Group of Companies as CEO from 2001 to 2012, providing leadership that drove steady growth, identified new service areas, developed new markets and promoted innovative thinking throughout the company. He has worked both domestically and abroad in senior management positions, supporting the work of Blumetric's engineers and scientists in the constantly evolving environmental consulting, water and waste water treatment, and occupational health and safety businesses.
