NEVADA ENERGY ANNOUNCES BOARD
AND MANAGEMENT CHANGES
As a result of the recent board of directors meeting of
Nevada Energy Metals Inc., the following management and board changes are now in place: Harry Barr has resigned
as chairman, chief executive officer, corporate secretary and director. As well, Gordon Chunnett has resigned as president, chief financial officer, chief operating officer and director.
Filling the position of president and chief executive officer is Richard Wilson, who currently is a director of the company. Mr. Wilson
has been in the mining and natural resource industry for over 20 years. Since 2006, he has been the president of
Regent Ventures Ltd., a company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral resource properties.
Prior to serving as its president, he was a director of Regent Ventures from 1993 to 2006. He is also a director of
Wildcat Exploration Ltd.
Randy Hayward has been appointed to the board of directors. With 22 years of experience working with several TSX
Venture Exchange-listed companies, Mr. Hayward has worked with numerous successful private and public companies, being
responsible for raising investment capital and working in corporate communications, business development and investor
relations. Mr. Hayward graduated with a law degree in 1973, after which he maintained a successful law practice in
Edmonton, Alta., Canada, for 20 years. Mr. Hayward has served on the board of directors for Jemi Fibre Ltd. since 2013 and on the board of LOM Medical International Ltd. and LOM Laboratories Inc. since June,
2013.
Robert Guanzon has been appointed chief financial officer of the company. Mr. Guanzon is chief financial officer of several junior
resource companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. He holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting and brings extensive
experience in dealing with financial and accounting matters, as well as corporate strategy.
Tina Whyte has been appointed corporate secretary of the company. Ms. Whyte brings over 20 years of experience in
the corporate and securities industry. Her expertise spans to areas of corporate governance, continuous disclosure,
financing transactions and regulatory filings. Ms. Whyte holds corporate secretary positions with several publicly listed
companies.
Mr. Barr stated that it has been a pleasure to have served as the CEO and director of this dynamic exploration company.
As the company has established itself as a leader in the lithium brine exploration business in Nevada, it is time to have a
president and CEO with Mr. Wilson's experience and dedication to guide the company through its next major
milestones. Mr. Barr will now focus his time and energy on other projects.
The company would like to thank Mr. Barr and Mr. Chunnett for their contributions to Nevada Energy and wish them
success in their future endeavours.
