Brien Lundin, in the October, 2016, edition of the Gold Newsletter, refreshes his buy of Avrupa Minerals Ltd., recently 17 cents. He said buy nine times from May, 2011, to June, 2016, at prices ranging from nine cents to 47 cents. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the nine buys, the $9,000 position is now worth $9,716. Avrupa recently released assays from the final five holes of an 11-hole drill program at its Slivovo gold project in Kosovo. The results included eight metres of 3.29 grams per tonne gold and 9.7 g/t silver, and showed the potential for the Gossan extension zone to continue at depth. The company will now incorporate the drill results into a updated resource estimate, expected this fall. Mr. Lundin sees decent odds that the resources will increase "substantially." He also points out that Avrupa, a prospect generator, has several other interesting projects in its Europe-focused portfolio. The stock remains a buy at current levels.
